My name is Nancy Jo and it is my distinct pleasure to introduce you to my uniquely-designed warming elements.
I am the creator of the one-of-a-kind Gooshee warming elements!
In my work as a massage therapist, I saw a need to help people who suffered from a variety of conditions that caused them to experience chronically cold hands and feet. As a result, I created a line of products to soothe, nurture and warm the extremities, as well as the core of the body. The name 'Gooshee' came about when I was shopping for materials with my mom one day. I directed her to pick out materials that had a 'soft, cuddly and gooshee' (my own sort of made up word.) sort of feel to the material.
Thus, the name 'Gooshee' was born.
Gooshees are made with love and consideration for the earth. They are lovingly-sewn and eco-friendly. Your Gooshee is exceptionally unique because of its specialized design and use of materials. Prior to assembly, all materials are carefully selected, laundered and dried at high temperatures (utilizing an eco-friendly laundry detergent in order to minimize allergens and to ensure that there will be no shrinkage of your warmer for the future.) This way, you may enjoy a Gooshee warming element that is pure, hygienic and reasonably-priced. In alignment with my desire to produce as natural a product as possible, ALL Gooshees contain NON-aromatic, organic, warming grains as fillers.
Gooshee warming elements are available for feet, hands, lap and back. Even Gooshee pocket warmers are available!
Your Gooshee is a one-of-a-kind product created to soothe the mind, body and spirit with warmth and comfort.
ANYONE can benefit from using Gooshee warming elements--Anyone who is cold on a winter day or someone who might be sedentary and struggles with cold extremities(especially, the elderly); Anyone who is wheel-chair bound who has limited circulation issues and Gooshees help with warming the body up; Anyone who is undergoing chemotherapy infusions(causing chills)...the list goes on--
I have also created a teddy bear that I have named Barb's Bears' in honor of my sister, Barb who suffered with ALS (aka, Lou Gehrig's Disease). Barb adored teddy bears and this is my tribute to her--to give to others something that comforts, something that is cherished and something that warms and is made with love. Barb lost her fight with ALS on January 22, 2008 but her strength, hope and spirit forever live on.

As a Denver native, I am passionate about giving back to my community. As a result, I have chosen to donate a portion of all my sales of 'Barb's Bears' Gooshees to selected non-profit organizations on a monthly basis. Some of these charitable organizations include: The Rocky Mountain Chapter of the ALS Association (Lou Gehrig’s Disease); The Denver Rescue Mission, The Salvation Army, The American Heart Association, The American Cancer Society and the Colorado Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
